Aprilia is currently awaiting medical clearance to organize a special test for Jorge Martin to potentially get back on the RS-GP before his return to the MotoGP World Championship. Martin, the 2024 World Champion, has missed nine races due to injury, with a medical check-up scheduled for the first week of July after the Dutch GP. His recovery is in its final stage, and a concrete return plan is expected after the check-up with Dr. Angel Charte. Aprilia is looking to take advantage of a regulation change that allows a rider to participate in a test after missing three grand prix events. A one-day special test session is being considered at the Misano Circuit in mid-July as part of Martin’s comeback preparation.
